WatchSrv

WatchSrv is the PI Server Supervisor. It can run on the PI Server or on a different computer. WatchSrv periodically checks the health of PI Server by examining selected tags for:
- age of the snapshot (alarm if too old)
- values of selected tags (alarm if too high)
- any PI Expression
If one of health checks fails, WatchSrv can write alarm logs or it can trigger a SMS or e-mail information, together with NotifyMe.
Alarm information can be saved in the log file, as PI Tag on another server or as SQL Table record.
WatchSrv works as a Windows service or as interactive application for ad-hoc health test.
